No idea what the problem is (I've never had an issue installing icon sets, visual styles, or anything before) but your index.theme does not work for me, and I get the dreaded "...is not a valid theme." dialogue box. Any troubleshooting suggestions?

Hello,

This Icon theme is awesome

, I love it!
But, there's just a little problem with the folder icon: when I select the gperfection² theme, the folder icon doesn't change, it's still the default gnome icon.

I noticed this problem with a few other icon themes and I don't know how to solve this.
