Then shoot my computer, because I did try it, and it's just as slow as any of the other pixmap themes. Complex coded themes like Clearlooks are faster, and crappy coded themes like Raleigh are faster still.

Though no matter what theme I use, GTK always has a widget latency. I should not be able to pull my hand away from the mouse to head height whenever I click a menu or tab (for it to load). It can't just be my computer, because Windows' and KDE's widgets render literally instantly.

It's nice that you've had other people claiming it runs faster, but not for me.

Dont know then. Its fast a hell for me and you are the first to claim of slowness. Oh well, not for everyone. Thats cool.

I dunno. No idea on themes in KDE. Ask around kde-look.org and see if anyone has any ideas :) Let me know if you manage to do it. Would like to see how it turns out :D
