Graphite Suite 2.0 by Lokheed Graphite Suite 2.0 by Lokheed
For other GTK+ Theme, please visit:

[link]

A graphical suite for the GNOME desktop environment. This suite requires several outside components. GTK-Engines-2.7.3 or higher must be installed to meet the Clearlooks/Cairo dependencies. The gperfection icon set must also be installed as the graphite icon theme is merely an expansion.

Enjoy.

PS: Thanks for the DA Daily Feature. Always wanted one of those :D :D :D

I downloaded the tar.gz for that but it said I needed gtk+-2.8.0 so I downloaded that and installed and configured but it said I needed another package so I gave up.

Oh man! :o

Would you be able to convert this to a Visual Style for Windows? :D

That looks pretty snazzy. Although it was Megatron there in the background that caught my eye first. :p

Wow, this is really slick. I'm a WinXP use so I won't be downloading, just wanted to compliment your fine work. My one nitpick based on the screenshot is that the selected song on the media player playist is unreadable. Aside from that, awesome!

Thanks. Be surprised how many Windows users marked this as a fav. Yeah, unfortunately I cant fix that in BMP. I wish it allowed for a more robust colour coding on the text...or maybe it does and I just need to apply it...

Not on your life. Well not made by me anyway. I now there is already a Clearlooks for Windows, so you would just need to tweak the colours. I like to keep my things exclusively for Linux. You guys have far to many wicked things already, we need some "one of a kinds" as well for our desktop ;)

Thank you. You wouldnt believe the control and precision you can modify Linux with. For a skinner (and most other people), it is a dream to work with. Closed source is truly the root of all evil (skinning wise) and any skinner will tell you that ;)

i believe in that. the amount of turns one must take to skin freekin Windows... geez.

keep it up! ;)

we got xgl(eye candy beyound anything on a windows machine ,its also fast) now so thats 1 wicked thing for the unix/linux fans :w00t: just grabing x11r7 and then im gonna compile xgl

we also got enlightenment 17 and thats totally blows away anything from M$(well it will when its finished still in alpha)

Oh yeah for skinning, Linux is far ahead of Windows today and tomorrow (aka Vista). There is no comparison between what open source can deliver when it comes to skinning.

Thanks. I thought it looked a lot like winamp (and therefore xmms), but I always find xmms is too small, practically unreadable. That looks a bit better.

Download a Linux distro. They are all free. Install it with GNOME. Install the gtk-engines-2.7.3 or higher with Clearlooks. Open the theme manager and install the Clearlooks and Metacity theme and Icon Theme. Install BMP and then install the BMP skin. You are done.

Thanks. I didnt like Ubuntu when I tried it. To "done for you" and locked me out of a ton of stuff. Gentoo is hard but when you learn it, its totally worth it!

i see from the menu button that this is a gentoo install you are using. only real men use gentoo! good on ya, assuming that it is in fact gentoo. if not, then, well, you are still cool in my book cause this theme r0x0rs.
