Graphite Suite 2.0 by Lokheed Graphite Suite 2.0 by Lokheed
For other GTK+ Theme, please visit:

[link]

A graphical suite for the GNOME desktop environment. This suite requires several outside components. GTK-Engines-2.7.3 or higher must be installed to meet the Clearlooks/Cairo dependencies. The gperfection icon set must also be installed as the graphite icon theme is merely an expansion.

Enjoy.

PS: Thanks for the DA Daily Feature. Always wanted one of those :D :D :D

Very clean, I like this a lot. :D It will certainly be one I'd use if I ever manage to switch to Linux - I've got to convince my dad first! :+fav:

This is an awesome theme. If linux would work on my computer i'd totally have it, as i did back when i tried running linux on my laptop...

Linux doesn't like laptops very much. Or me for that fact.

I would say the best thing to do is go to gentoo.org and start reading. Linux takes a bit to get used to and its very different from Windows to install and use.

1. What's the font and size you have in that screenshot, above?

2. (A) where may I find the gaim skin depicted,
(B) is it only for 2.0.4 or any beta 2.0 version ?

Thank you.

1- Read the FAQ in my journal

2 - (a) Check my gallery. (b) I made it during beta stages, no idea if they changed anything, give it a shot.

I have one thought, although I know you don't use gentoo/linux anymore, I recently started using the gtk+ widget theme, and I realized that on tree views (if you don't remember, these are drop downs/frames with the rotating arrow) the whole bar blackens, and I can't see what's underneath, is there any fix for this?

I never had this behaviour. Chances are you are going to have to modify the gtkrc file and isolate where the conflict lies. Either ask on the gtk mailing list or the gnome support forums. I would choose the mailing list as it sees the most activity. You could also contact the developer of clearlooks and send him the theme file. He might be able to spot the problem rather quickly.

Hi lokheed.
I wanted to let you know that i did a version of Graphite for the Murrine Gtk engine. Its a very loose quick and dirty job but i wished to notify you all the same. I uploaded it to gnome-look.org and hope that you do not mind. I gave you credit in the description.. and hope you do not mind.

This is a very tidy suite, i love the fact that it's graphite, only really! not a frackin' bubble or glass ball in sight. If I was a gnome/metacity user my desktop would look something like this...

Yeah, kinda getting sick of the Mac coined look? Never been a big fan of it myself, more of a pixel person. I did make a reduced glass look in Luminescence but I think I will always like clean and crisp as apposed to bubbly and shiny.

Cheers

Just loaded this theme up on my Redhat 4 system and it looks great.
Colour are well balanced and very easy on the eye.
Just goes to show that simplicity will always win in the end.

Good job and thanks!
